A: Please refer to CozeeCoo®'s Size Chart and CozeeCoo®'s Proper Fit video. The arm span (fingertips, across the arm, chest, opposite arm, and opposite fingertips) is the most accurate measurement to go by when choosing the proper size. In this way our size 12-15 months has worked for children ages 2 and 3 years old.
**If your baby is between sizes or when in doubt, we recommend opting for the larger size. With one size larger, you can apply our custom fit trick, which works well. This also allows the CozeeCoo® to be utilized for a longer period of time.**
While we are confident in our Size Chart as it's based off the World Health Organization (WHO) child growth standards, we also understand measurements come in an array of beautiful baby figures. If you find the CozeeCoo® is still not fitting properly, please be sure to reach out to our Contact Page so we can figure out the best fit together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What size should I choose especially if my baby is between sizes?
Q: How should the CozeeCoo® Fit?
A: Please refer to our CozeeCoo® Fit Chart and CozeeCoo®'s Proper Fit video. The logo should sit under (not in front) of the diaper. This will provide the most amount of fabric at the back to comfortably drape over the shoulders. If the fabric cannot comfortably drape over the shoulders then the size is too small. If the fabric comfortably drapes over the shoulders but baby can reach their face with their hands (with the snap level at the tightest setting), or baby can wriggle out, then the CozeeCoo® size is too large. With one size larger, we have a couple custom fit tricks which work well. Please refer to the question below.
Q: What are the one-size-larger fit tricks?
A: To utilize a one-size-larger CozeeCoo® for a longer period of time (perhaps over two surgeries), if your little love is between sizes or can simply wriggle out an arm, Please refer to CozeeCoo®'s Proper Fit video, which explains our custom fit tricks in detail.
1) This is the most effective fit trick. Hand-sew the arm opening closed about two inches on each side. Just be sure to sew parallel to the seam. This will create a custom size, which keeps the arms comfortably in place. As your precious love grows, you can remove the stitches to continue use. Below is a photo to help visualize this.
2) The second fit trick is to first twist the front flap once before snapping it closed. This will create a more snug fit, which can also lower the arms a bit more. Just be sure your little love can still reposition while rolling. Below is a photo for reference.
If you find you have any questions, please reach out to info@cozeecoo.com.

Q: Can I use the CozeeCoo® in the hospital?
A: Please share the CozeeCoo® with your healthcare provider to make it part of your healing plan. We are a brand new product (launched March 2021) and in this way everyone including medical personnel are learning about us. We want medical teams to feel confident in how they treat their patients. Some facilities will utilize the CozeeCoo® wearable blanket in the hospital while others prefer the CozeeCoo® to be used for at home recovery. If your healthcare team would like to learn more, receive our brochures or stock the CozeeCoo® for their precious patients, please have them reach out to info@cozeecoo.com.
Q: Can the CozeeCoo® be used while sleeping -even when rolling?
A: Yes, when used according to CozeeCoo®'s Instructions for Use (IFU). The CozeeCoo® is defined as a wearable blanket or sleep sack (Not a swaddle) where the limbs, chest and body are Not compressed, allowing for rolling and repositioning. The CozeeCoo® is designed for use while sleeping. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states: "Babies up to 1 year of age should always be placed on their back to sleep during naps and at night. However, if your baby has rolled from their back to their side or stomach on their own, they can be left in that position if they are already able to roll from tummy to back and back to tummy." Please practice safe sleep. The AAP is a wonderful resource (www.aap.org).

Q: I'm interested in the CozeeCoo® but the international shipping prices are costly. Why is this and what can I do?
A: CozeeCoo® is a new business (launched March, 2021). Our fulfillment center is located in New Jersey in the United States. As we grow, we will be able to forge partnerships with fulfillment centers internationally, which would provide local shipping costs to our customers abroad.

It's important to note international customs departments can charge an additional $40 once the package arrives at the destination country. They will hold the package until the fee is paid.

Q: Is the CozeeCoo® garment made from organic materials?
A: Yes. The CozeeCoo® is made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified 100% cotton fabric including the sew-in interfacing fabric and labels. CozeeCoo®'s fabrics are lightweight and hypoallergenic (free from: nickel (a common allergen), toxic dyes or substances, bleach, formaldehyde, and fragrances). We also use knitted interlocking loops for a natural stretch.
Q: Can the CozeeCoo® be worn right out of packaging?
A: Yes. The CozeeCoo® comes from a Global Organic Textile Standard certified manufacturing facility. In short, it's as clean as it gets.
Our corrugated cardboard is also made with sensitive skin in mind. We do not use recycled materials as more food contaminants, glue resins and chemical inks from newspapers and receipts are reported in recycled cardboard and papers. At the same time our materials are 100% recyclable and we very much recommend recycling. We simply don't make it a starting point for our littles who need a bit of extra protection while their immune systems are gaining strength.
The outside package has been traveling, however. So after opening the package we recommend washing your hands before touching the CozeeCoo®. Then please feel free for your little love to wear the CozeeCoo® right away.
Q: What should my baby wear with the CozeeCoo®?
A: The industry recognized measurement for the warmth of garments and bedding is called the Thermal Overall Grade (TOG). CozeeCoo®'s TOG is .2, which means it's ideal for room temperatures between 75°F to 81°F. As the CozeeCoo® is made from a lightweight, 100% organic knit cotton, it's breathable for those warm summer days and can just be worn with a diaper. For winter days, warmer layers are recommended to be worn specifically under the CozeeCoo®.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends room temperatures be between 68°F to 72°F. The AAP recommends dressing babies and children in one more layer of clothing than adults in the same conditions. We recommend wearing snug-fitting, breathable, 100% organic cotton clothing under the CozeeCoo®. Please follow the guidelines provided by the AAP at www.aap.org and contact your healthcare provider for safe sleep practices.
Q: Can I use the CozeeCoo® in a car seat?
A: Yes. The CozeeCoo® does not alter the way a standard car seat operates, which like clothing is safe for your baby to wear in their car seat when word according to CozeeCoo®'s Instructions for Use (IFU). Just be sure your baby's hands are by their sides before being securely buckled in.
